We would like to congratulate the Poken team for winning the TechCrunch Europa in our category. From a high profile shortlist of nominees (Fon, INQ Mobile, Modu, Poken and us) they won a well deserved award. We’re very honoured to have received the Highly Commended title as the only unfunded company on the list, this was beyond what we were expecting!

We are so happy, honoured and humbled to have made it to the shortlist for the TechCrunch Europas. Especially since we’re probably the only non-funded company on the list! We’re working very hard to make sure that we have some major announcements to coincide with the event, regardless of the outcome. We would like to send out lots of love to Everybody who voted for us and made this possible. The nomination by itself is a big deal to us. Without you guys it wouldn’t have been possible! We would also like to wish our competition all the best of luck in the final round, you all have marvellous products and deserve to win.

We’re very happy to have won the Next Web 2009 Rising Sun Startup Rally award on Friday. It has been such an amazing week for us, and we couldn’t be more excited. We’d love to thank everybody that made our success possible. Special kudos go to the Yunoo team that were runner up in the people’s choice, well deserved for their fantastic product.
